Veneers, Bonding and Whitening
Our office provides veneer, bonding and teeth whitening treatments that will help to rid your teeth of the unsightly cracks, gaps, crookedness and discoloration caused by time, wear and decay.
Veneers are custom-made thin shells that, once bonded to your teeth, help to cover up well-entrenched discoloration, unsightly gaps, crooked and uneven teeth. Generally made from porcelain or composite resin, these shells provide a natural look that can drastically improve the shape and size of an individual tooth. Veneer applications usually require 2-3 dental visits in order to complete the process.
Another great way to cosmetically-enhance your teeth is through bonding. Though bonding produces similar results to veneers, such as shape, size, and color improvements, the procedure utilizes the application of a tooth-colored resin instead of pre-fabricated shells, and can generally be completed in as little as 30 to 60 minutes. After the resin is applied, it is molded to the tooth and quickly hardened through the use of a special UV light. The material will then be smoothed so as to match the desired size, shape and texture of the specific treated area.
Whitening, perhaps the most popular and commonly-used method for smile enhancement, relies on the application of a bleaching agent that can eliminate the presence of difficult stains and discoloration. Though results vary from patient to patient, whitening can be a powerful and easy way to drastically improve the appearance of your smile.
