If you've lost a crown we recommend contacting our office as soon as possible. Crowns are generally used to preserve and protect badly damaged or decayed teeth, and the loss of one can be uncomfortable. Sometimes we can simply reattach your exisiting crown, but sometimes the fact that the crown came out is a sign that it needs to be replaced. Until we see you, don't be afraid to brush and floss the area where the crown came out. Be sure to put your crown in a safe place and remember to bring it with you when you come in to have us take a look.
